Crypto Bonding and Staking Web Application
An educative case study on the decentralized reserve currency protocol
About the project
This project aims to simplify the concept of Staking and Bonding in crypto and make the platform user friendly and intuitive.
The dashboard shows the project highlight and real-time market insight. It also explains how the system works.
TVL represents the number of assets that are currently being staked in a specific protocol.
APY, or annual percentage yield, is a standard calculation of the rate of return used in traditional finance as well as crypto.
Bonding allows a project to acquire its own liquidity and other reserve assets by selling its native token at a discount in exchange for these assets.
The protocol quotes the bonder with terms such as the bond price, the number of native tokens entitled to the bonder, and the vesting term. The bonder can claim some of the rewards (native tokens) as they vest, and at the end of the vesting term, the full amount will be claimable.
To carry out a successful Bond or Stake, a user has to connect his wallet. A wallet is where the native token is stored
Here, the user types in the amount of token he wishes to bond and ‘Approve’ the transaction.
The token bonded can be redeemed after the maturity date
Stakers stake their native token on the project to earn rebase rewards. The rebase rewards come from the proceed from bond sales, and can vary based on the number of tokens staked in the protocol and the reward rate set by monetary policy.
Staking is a passive, long-term strategy.
Simply put, staking is the act of locking cryptocurrencies to receive rewards.
This feature helps the user calculate his Return on investment on the platform.
A staking and bonding system can be used to optimize for stability and consistency so that the native token of the project can function as a global unit-of-account and medium-of-exchange currency. In the short term, it can be used to optimize the system for growth and wealth creation.
Crypto users can gain passive income with a system like this in the long run.
